Born and raised in the culturally diverse borough of Brooklyn, New York, in true Gemini fashion, Carmen Simmons has always been intrigued by Arts and Entertainment. While attending her alma mater Clark Atlanta University she interned for Def Jam South, managed events for a Club Promoter and a local sports complex, and wrote for local magazines. Staying true to her dual personality, after college Carmen began building her network in entertainment while producing lifestyle programs for Comcast Community TV featuring a slew of successful personalities, moguls, and artist. In 2005, while working for Hitco Music Publishing, Carmen continued building her resume providing media related services for writers and producers and coordinating events featuring emerging fashion designers such as AVNAH and music artist such as Janelle Monáe. Today, Carmen has her thumb on multiple projects, including coordinating philanthropic events, producing a relationship podcast called CockTales, and managing a lifestyle and entertainment Vlog called N’Style Atlanta.
